Kenneth L. 'Mac' McKinney

Services for Mr. McKinney were 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 9, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Teb Batey officiating.  Interment with military honors was in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.  Visitation was 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 12-2 p.m. Monday at Bond Memorial Chapel.

Mr. McKinney, 78, of Murfreesboro, passed away Friday, Aug. 6, 2010.  He was a member of the Church of Christ, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retiree of DuPont and Remay.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Douts Hencelman; grandmother, Hallie Douts Beech Evans; and his wife of 55 years, Glenna Hackney McKinney.

Survivors include: son, Tim (Glenda) McKinney of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Heather (Blake) Tuggle, Zach (April) McKinney and Caleb McKinney; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Cooper Tuggle; sisters-in-law, Mary (George) Goodall of Mt. Juliet; Donna Rhea Hackney of Mt. Juliet, Gladys B. Hackney of Murfreesboro, Allie B. Hackney of Murfreesboro and Ola Mai Hackney of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Zach McKinney, Caleb McKinney, Blake Tuggle, Hayden Tuggle, Mike Goodall, Jerry Kirby and Trent Kirby.  Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Hackney, Van Goodall, Graham Hackney, Aaron Hackney, Tyler Rawls, Dylan LaRocca and Jeff Rawls.
