William H. Spurling
March 12,1929 - July 11, 2010

William H. Spurling, 53 year resident of Eastern Colorado and Colorado Springs passed away July 11, 2010, in Colorado Springs.  He was born on March 12, 1929 in Mendota, Illinois, to James Harold and Lucile (Hefflin) Spurling.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lois.  He is survived by two sisters, Catherine (Doll) Christensen of Gross Pointe, MI, Betty Jean Whitinger of Napa, CA and a brother Joseph (Joe) Spurling of Peosta, IA; five children, Vicky and husband Randy Gibbs, Gary Spurling, Donna and husband Jon Visscher, Kevin Spurling and Rhonda (Spurling) Eurich; six grandchildren, Kyle Spurling, Matt, Chris and Justin Spurling and Hailey and Lindsey Visscher.

Visitation is scheduled from 5:00-7:00PM Wednesday, July 14th at Swan Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade.  Services will be held Thursday, July 15th at 9:00AM at Swan Law Chapel, Pastor John Spurling of Gateway Church, Southlake, TX officiating.
