Jessie Mae King WATSON
(October 12, 1923 - December 18, 2010) 

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Jessie Mae King Watson, age 87, was born October 12, 1923 and died December 18, 2010 at River Park Hospital following a lingering illness.  A retired employee of Magnetek Century Electric and member of the Locust Street Church of God, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lillie Mae Cooley King.  She was married to Joe Lee Watson, Sr. who preceded her in death in 2003.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Jerry Dale Watson; granddaughter, Rebecca Watson and six brothers and sisters.  She is survived by one son, Joe Lee Watson, Jr. of McMinnville; daughter, Gena King Bathe of Knoxville, TN; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Opal Davis and Edna Campbell both of McMinnville; three brothers, Orval King of McMinnville, Ray King of Painesville, OH and Roy King of South Carolina; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.  Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2010 in High's Chapel with Roland Sharp officiating.  Burial followed in the Gardens of Memory.
