Galen Loel Waymire June 4, 1953 - June 12, 2010 Galen
passed away very unexpectedly while in route to one of his many passions,
his job and career. Galen was born in Arkansas City, Kansas on June
4, 1953 to the loving parents, Carl Loel Waymire and Ila Marie Waymire.
His family moved to Bakersfield, CA in the year 1958 where Galen was
raised and went to school. After Galen finished school he chose to
follow his father's footsteps and began work in the oil industry where
Galen blazed his own path with great success. Galen at the time of his
passing was located in the town of Saint Charles, LA. Galen is
survived by his loving wife of 35 years Linda Waymire; son, Jason and
Charlotte Waymire of LA; son, Mike and Tari Waymire of OK; son, Chris and
Sue Waymire of AZ; son, Adam Waymire of LA; 11 grandchildren; his parents,
Carl and Ila Waymire of Bakersfield, CA; brother, Mark Waymire and sister,
Denisa Waymire of Bakersfield, CA. Galen will always be loved and
missed by those who knew him. Visitation will be Monday, June 21st,
from 9-10 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Mortuary,
3700 River Blvd.
