Full Obituary: Norma Elaine Williams, age 64, of Fairmount, IN, died Monday, November 22, 2010, at her daughters residence in Swannanoa, NC. She was the daughter of the late Jack Smithley and the late Anna (Watson) Stinnett. She was born November 20, 1946 at Marion, IN. She was employed at General Motors, Marion, IN for 30 years where she worked as a janitor, retiring December 2006 . She had previously worked at RCA. She was graduate of Fairmount High School class of 1964. She was member UAW Local 977, and CPC Sympathy Club. She was actively involved with UAW Care and Share Program and Cancer Services of Grant County Angels Amoung Us Cancer Team. She was a cancer survivor. Enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening and was especially known for her beautiful yard and holiday decorations. She loved spending time with friends and having slumber parties. She enjoyed going to Little Tippy Lake. She enjoyed making food baskets. She is survived by two Daughters: Melissa (Bryan) Edwards, Swannanoa, NC Cherie McKinley, Fairmount, IN two Sons: Dustin (Kristen) Williams, Shawn McKinley, both of Fairmount, IN Step-mother: Louise Stinnett, Gas City, IN Sisters: Eula (Paul) Jefferies, Fairmount, IN Wanda Smithley, Fairmount, IN Jaqueline (Bob) Ormsby, Marion, IN Marilyn Stinnett , Dexter, MO Brothers: Vernon (Veda) Smithley, Fairmount, IN Eddie (Brenda) Stinnett, Morehouse, MO Grandchildren: Cassandra, Amanda, Macey, Jared, Brianna Horn, Johnny Huston, Jordan Huston, Chantel Shannon, Destinee Edwards, Kassidy Fritch, Kamden Williams. Great Granddaughter: Isreal Wilson Special family friend: Mark Huston, Fairmount, IN. Preceded in death by 1 Grandson, her parents and step-father, Omer "Buck" Stinnett, Jr. Funeral will be Sunday November 28, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St. Fairmount, IN with her uncle Rev. Morris Watson officiating. Interment will be at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, IN. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday 3-8 PM Memorials are to the UAW Local 977 Care and Share Program or Cancer Services of Grant County.
