Betty B. Faro (nee Beers), 91, of Elyria, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2011, at the Wesleyan Village after a long illness.

Betty was born February 20, 1920 in Herrin, Illinois.  Elyria has been her home for most of her adult life.

She spent her retirement years with her husband, Ray, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.  She was an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Jensen Beach, Florida.  She was a member of Elyria Country Club, where she enjoyed playing golf.  She especially loved her family, her home, and her church.

She is survived by one son, Jeff (Lisa) Faro of Sheffield Village; two daughters, Judi (Jeff) Faro-Dunn of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Diane (John) Schuler of Tennessee; grandchildren, William Schuler, Jonathan Faro, Krista (Steven) Beyer, and Brittney Faro.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, in April of 1996: her parents, Dallas and Esther Beers; and one brother.

Services will be held Saturday, March 26, 2011, at 10 A.M. in the Chapel at St. Jude Church, 590 Poplar St., Elyria.  Father Frank Kosem, Pastor, will officiate.  Burial will be in Jensen Beach, Florida.
