SULPHUR SPRINGS — Funeral services for Raymond E. Henry, 81, of Quinlan will be conducted at Lake Tawakoni Church of Christ at 11:30 a.m. Friday with Randy Reagan officiating.

A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Eastview Memorial Park Cemetery in Vernon, Texas.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mr. Henry passed away June 6, 2011, at College Station.

He was born in Vernon on Oct. 26, 1929, the son of Cab and Bessie (Rather) Henry.

He married Bobbye Jo Smith in Vernon on Sept. 4, 1946; she preceded him in death in 2009.

He was a retired funeral director and a member of the Church of Christ. He was also a Master Mason of the Trestle Board 534 in Quinlan.

Survivors include a son, Drew Henry and wife Tae of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughter Ricki Henry of College Station; five grandchildren, Drew Henry of Irving, Joelle Rosentswieg Stalzer and husband Nate of Austin, Suzann Henry Grant, Tina Henry, both of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Ariel Bobbye Rosentswieg of College Station; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Russell Henry; two sisters, Linda Henry Jordan and Brenda Henry Renfro; and Christian caregiver, Betty Nolan.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Reagan Henry; and sister Roma Handley.
