Mark N. Lundquist Myers Mortuary
Mark Norman Lundquist, 56, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 18, 2011 due to natural causes. Mark was born in Ogden, Utah on February 11, 1955 to Robert Edward Lundquist and Martha Joy Norman Lundquist. Mark graduated from Weber High School in 1973. He attended Weber State College where he pursued his passion for golf. Mark married Nancy Duman in Scio, Oregon on April 30, 1983. They were later divorced. Mark and Nancy had two wonderful sons, Jared Robert (26) and Matthew Kirk (23) whom he cherished. Mark worked in several industries throughout his career, most notably the years he spent as a PGA Teaching Professional at various golf courses in Oregon. He cherished the years he spent running a duck hunting club on the 99 acres he owned in western Oregon. As a young boy, Mark treasured his time growing up on Grandpa's dairy farm. As an adult, his hobbies and interests included cooking, gardening, and working on cars and small engines. He also enjoyed research on the computer, watching "House" and his daily conversations with his mom. He is survived by his two boys, Jared and Kirk, both of Salem, Oregon, his mother Joy Jex (Brent), his stepmother Pauline Lundquist, his sisters Lisa Berlin (Gus), Robyn Zellmer (Scott), Sarah Elizabeth Lundquist, and five step-siblings, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his faithful companion, his golden retriever, Princess. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Lundquist. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 Monroe Blvd. Friends may call at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. on Wednesday, September 21st from 6 to 7 p.m. and also Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. - See more at: |
