Obituary for John Reeves

John (J.R.) Reeves was born in New Roads, Louisiana on February 16, 1959 the son of the Melvin Wayne and Betty Joyce Davidson Reeves.  Mr. Reeves was self-employed.  Mr. Reeves departed this life on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the age of 52 years, 15 days.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, John N. Reeves, Jr. of Melville, Louisiana; 2 daughters, Lauren Timberly Reeves of Nashville, Tennessee and Valerie DiBenedetto of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; a grandchild, Skylar Rayne DiBenedetto; a sister, Debra A. Baham of Harpersville, Alabama; a brother, Mikel Wayne Reeves of Midway, Mississippi.  Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Ray Reeves.
