Services for Mr. Underhill will be 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1 at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Tramel and Bro. Carl Price officiating.  Interment will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Saturday, 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. until the service Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Underhill, 83, of Lebanon and formerly of Smithville, died Friday, July 29, 2011 at St. Thomas Hospital.  He was a member of Shop Springs Baptist Church, a 30 year Mason and retired from Textron in Nashville.

He was preceded in death by parents, William Ernest and Mary Belle Vanatta Underhill; and brother, William Harold Underhill.

83 year old Loyd Eugene Underhill of Lebanon & formally of Smithville, passed away Friday morning at St. Thomas hospital in Nashville.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 1, 2011 at 1pm from the chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home with internment to follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.  Bro. Kenneth Tramel & Bro. Carl Price will officiate.

Visitation with the family will be on Sat. 5-8pm, Sun. 2-8pm & Mon. 11am until the service time at 1pm.  

He was a member of the Shop Springs Baptist Church, a 30 year Mason, & was an Army Veteran from the Korean Conflict.  He was retired from Textron in Nashville. Mr. Underhill was preceded in death by his parents, William Ernest & Mary Belle Vanatta Underhill & a brother, William Harold Underhill.
