Vera Vaux was born Feb. 7, 1936 to Howard Francis Burt and Irene Florence Chase Burt.  She married Marvin Vaux on April 2, 1955.  She lived in Washington most of her life, except for 7 years in Iowa from 1955-1962.  Her hobbies included camping, fishing, crocheting, and working in her flowers.  She belonged to the Tag-along trailer club and volunteered at Centralia Hospital in the gift shop for many years.

Vera passed away Dec. 8, 2011.  She is survived by her daughters, Ava Jo Dayton of Pentress, W. Va. and Kathy Nickols of Chehalis, Wash., grandchildren, Jason Robinson, Chad Nickols Sr., Michael Robinson, and John Dayton, great-grandchildren, JoAnna Robinson, Chad Nickols, Jr., Jasmine Nickols, Leroy Nickols, Aleaha Tauscher, and Ayden Robinson, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
