Aaron Watson
Aaron Watson, 80, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died Friday, January 14, 2011, at a local hospital. He was born March 9, 1930, in Smithville, Tennessee, to Rev. Frank Lee Watson and Eula Bond Watson. He served in the U. S. Army. Aaron was owner and operator of Watson's Antiques and was a founding member of Lake Hamilton Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Aaron was predeceased by his parents; son, 1st Lt. Gregory L. Watson; six brothers; and four sisters. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rubena Watson of Hot Springs; daughters, LeAnn (Dennis) Ford of Hot Springs and Candy (Dean) Jones of Hot Springs; brothers – Paul (Annette) Watson, Rev. David (Leota) Watson, Morris (Angele) Watson, Frank (Nancy) Watson, Jr., all of McMinnville, Tennessee, and Rev. Johnny (Barbara) Watson of Dyer, Tennessee; sister, Francis Billings of McMinnville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Stefanie Ford, Chad Ford, Sara Schaffner, Dawson Jones and Sophia Jones; and great- grandchildren, Aaron Ford and Haley Ford. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Duawn Mearns officiating. Pallbearers include Chad Ford, Michael Watson, Bruce Watson, Laney Watson, Brian Kane and James L. Carter, Jr. Honorary bearers include Dr. Kevin Hale, Dr. Michael Frais and Dr. Gary L.
