Howard Beauchamp Lake Havasu News-Herald

Howard Beauchamp was born to George and Sophie Beauchamp on Oct. 28, 1928 in San Gabriel, Calif. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Exa; children, Bobby, Candy (Richard) and Roger (Vicki); grandchildren, Ashley (Aaron), Brittany and Brennan and great granddaughter, Ariana. There were three brothers, George (Wanda), Bob and Joe who are now deceased; one sister, Barbara (John) Holzinger and many nieces and nephews. Howard had a great love of life. In high school, he loved sports and was very good in gymnastics. He went into the Merchant Marines and traveled the world and was in the Army during the Korean War. He was a carpenter until 1992. He and Exa retired and moved to Lake Havasu City. He and all their family loved to water ski on the river and in Lake Havasu. Howard and Exa loved boating, water skiing, fishing and traveling in their RV. He liked to work and took pride in what he did. In the 80s he build a carpet machine and cleaned carpet in his spare time. He retired in Lake Havasu City and cleaned many carpets in town. His businesses name was Beaus Carpet Cleaning. He also worked for InstaClean in Lake Havasu City, owned by his niece and nephew, Cindy and Ron Bluestone. He built two homes for he and Exa and helped on many others. He attended Oro Grande Church of Christ with Exa. He fought dementia for many years. It is true that Dementia-Alzheimers is the long goodbye. He passed away on Sept 3, peacefully in the Phoenix Best Care Assisted Living Home. The family will miss him and love him forever. Services will be Monday, Sept. 10, 10:30 a.m., North Valley Church of Christ, Cave Creek, AZ 85331.
