Ronda Brumback, 60, of Arkansas City, Kansas passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at her home under the care of her husband and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Arkansas City, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the Blessing Heights Church of God in Arkansas City.  Visitation will be held Monday, May 28, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.  Interment will be at the Riverview Cemetery in Arkansas City.

A memorial has been established with the Gideon’s International and may be left with the Hawks-Shelley Funeral Home.

Ronda Diane Brumback was born the daughter of Alvin and Marie (Underwood) Woods in Arkansas City on November 30, 1951.  Ronda graduated from the Arkansas City High School in 1969.  She was united in marriage to Robert Brumback on August 13, 1977 in Arkansas City, Kansas.  Ronda was a clerk at the Dillon’s Store in Winfield, worked as a buyer for K-Mart and was the church secretary at Blessings Heights Church of God.  She enjoyed babysitting, watching cooking shows, garage sales and listening to Elvis Presley.  Most of all she loved her grandchildren.

Ronda is survived by her husband, Robert of the home, children, Jeanna Retana, Tammy Tavorez and her husband Manuel, Matthew Brumback, Christy Merry and her husband Justin all of Arkansas City and 7 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her grandchild, Aidin Brumback.
