Jared J. Higgins, 29, of West Maple Street, Hazleton, died Friday afternoon in Hazleton General Hospital.

He was born in Kingston and resided in Hazleton all his life.

He is survived by his mother, Donna (Yanoski) George and stepfather, Eric J. George, Hazle Township; his companion, Nicole Stemko; his three children, Talan Higgins, Tenn.; Nolan and Caleigh Higgins, at home; his sister, Dana George, Mehoopany; maternal grandmother, Shirley Yanoski, Hazleton; step paternal grandmother, Joann George, Hazleton; and uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Yanoski

Friends and relatives may pay their respects from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., 542-544 N. Wyoming St., Hazleton.
