Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home for Mr. A.M. Pearman, 89, Gadsden, who passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2012.  The Rev. Larry Garrard and the Rev. Greg Lee will officiate with burial to follow at Crestwood Cemetery.  Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Service directing.

Mr. Pearman was of the Baptist faith and church music director for several years, sharing his passion for music.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and especially loved trains and roses.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Mae Wardle Pearman; parents, A.M. and Arrie Pearman; and daughter, Rebecca Sue Browder.

He is survived by his son, Marvin Neal Pearman (Dennise); daughters, Judie Pearman Sollie, Ann Pearman Hassel and Sharon Pearman Pullen (Dwight); 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Rayford Kenneth Pearman; sisters, Mildred Louise Temple, Thelma Lois Wood, Gloria Viola Pruitt and Ilene Pentecost; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be family.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the eighth-floor nurses at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, especially Christy Mashburn.

Visitation will be held this evening from 6 until 8.
