Arthur Thomason 88, of Carlisle died Friday evening June 8, 2012 at home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Harlan, Ky and served his country during WW II in the Navy as a submariner.  He retired as an Electrician from D P & L.

Arthur was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Juanita, a son, Daniel and his 2nd wife, LaRue McDaniel.

He is survived by his son, Donald (Lisa) Thomason, 2 grandchildren, Shelly Philpot and Nick McKinney, 2 great grandchildren, Joshua and Jake Philpot.  He also leaves a former daughter in law, Linda Nessele, a brother, Andrew and a sister, Ruth Asbury.

Funeral services at the First Baptist Church of Miamisburg.  Visitation prior to services.  Pastor Steve Spurgen will officiate.  Burial with Military Honors at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
