Peggy Wood
(December 28, 1948 - May 29, 2012)

Peggy Justice Henderson Wood, 63, of Waycross died Tuesday morning (May 29, 2012) at Hospice Satilla House after a brief illness.  She was born in Waycross to the late Cecil Justice, Sr. and Dorothy West Gilliard and lived here most of her life.  She was a dental assistant and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded by one sister, Doris Renn.

Survivors include three sons, Bill Henderson and his wife Carla of Valdosta, Andy Henderson of Waycross, Corey Henderson and his wife Cherry of Waycross; five grandchildren, Terry, Palmer, Colt, Payton and Caden Henderson; one brother, Cecil Justice, Jr. and his wife Rooney of Bellair, Maryland; two sisters, Cecilia Brown and her husband Emmitt of Brunswick, Lucy King and her husband Robin of Conway, South Carolina; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held Thursday morning at 11 am at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
