Kerwin John Arthur, 53, of Baroda passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Kindred Hospital of Northern Indiana in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Woodland Shores Baptist Church, 3555 Shawnee Road, Bridgman with Pastor Brian Bennett from Overflow Church in Benton Harbor officiating.  Friends may meet with the family from 3 - 4:00 PM before the memorial service at church.  As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be given to the National Registry of Myotonic Dystrophy, University of Rochester Medical Center, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Box 673, Rochester, New York 14642-8673.

Kerwin was born June 25, 1959 in Mansfield, Ohio the son of Russell and Wilma Charlene (Freeman) Arthur.  He married Denise Lord on September 23, 2007 and they shared their lives together for 6 years.  He was a member of Overflow Church in Benton Harbor where the Friday Night Small Group became his family.  Kerwin loved to fish and had many aquariums of tropical fish.  He was a great cook and loved to put out a spread!

Survivors include his wife - Denise; children - Caleb, Jenni, and Titus Arthur all of Chattanooga, Tennessee; mother - Charlene Arthur of Mansfield, Ohio; brothers - Kevin Arthur, Ken (Linda) Arthur both of Mansfield, Ohio; sisters - Elizabeth and Rebecca Arthur both of Mansfield, Ohio; and Kerwin’s best buddy - Bo his dog also known as Mr. Pib.

Kerwin was proceeded in death by his father - Russell Arthur and a brother - Kingsley Arthur.
