Keith Wesley Brain 53, longtime Flagstaff resident, died November 17 , 2013. Keith was born in Paterson NJ on November 29, 1959. He grew up in Wanaque, NJ, Graduating Lakeland High School in 1977. In 1978 he and his family moved to Flagstaff, where he was employed at Ralston Purina and Coconino County as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Coconino County Search and Rescue for many years , and was Captain in 1980. Keith loved the outdoors and taking care of his animals. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Blanche Brain. He is survived by his sisters, Kimberly (Trevan) Woolbright, Kathy Rogers (Dan), his children: Alicia Lyon Murphy, Michael Lyon and Dusteen Brain , and his Grandchildren, his Nieces and Nephew, his faithful dog Buddy and many extended family members and friends.
