Obituary for Patsy Purser

On February 16 2013 Patsy Purser 83 of San Angelo formerly of Abilene entered the Kingdom of Heaven after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at North’s Funeral Home 242 Orange Street.  Services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at North’s Memorial Chapel.  Burial will follow in Trent Cemetery under the direction of North’s Funeral Home.

Patsy was born in Trent, Texas on August 28 1929 to Spurgeon and Birdie Scott.  On May 15 2003 she married a life- long friend Bill Purser after the death of her husband Robert Raedel in 1996.  She was a Christian and raised her family as Christians and led a Christian life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Lee Raedel ; two brothers: Murrell Scott and Ronnie Scott and son Joel Wayne Hamner.

She is survived by her husband Bill Purser; two sons: Gary Hamner and wife Heather of Tuscola and Theodore Raedel and wife Melissa of Maine; Step-son Donald G. Purser and wife Connie; Granddaughters: Shilo Treille Lacey Henderson Jessica Hamner Ashley Wilder and Dawn Purser; Grandsons: Hunter Raedel Garrett Hamner and Toby Purser; Nephews: Mike Scott and Justin Scott; Nieces: Jamie Scott and ShaRae Oustad; Great-Granddaughter Leah Treille; Great-Grandsons: Charlie Nesbitt Luke Nesbitt Cash Henderson Levi Henderson Eli Hamner and Aiden Wilder.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the special care and concern the nurses and administrators at Meadow Creek Baptist Memorials and Regency House provided for her as well as to the nurses on 5 North at Shannon Hospital.
