Nancy Marie Majors Roberson, 79, of Athens, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013.

Mrs. Roberson was born May 15, 1933 in Huntsville to the late Ben and Ova Majors.  She was a loving wife, mother, and lover of people.

Survivors include Mrs. Roberson's husband of 30 years, Frank Roberson; sons, James Whitener of Buffalo, NY, Ricky Whitener of Maryville, TN, and Charles Lee of Atlanta, GA; daughters, Teresa Maund and Cynthia Cordell - both of Decatur; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.

Mrs. Roberson's funeral will be held Sunday, April 28, 2013, at 4:00pm at the Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Cordell officiating.  Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00pm until the time of service at Roselawn Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be Mrs. Roberson's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
