James Eugene Bradford

Jim was born to Eugene and Myrtle Bradford on May 30, 1923, in Fresno.  He was called home to be with his beloved wife, Carole on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at 91 years of age.

Jim grew up in Fresno and graduated from Fresno High School.  He married Carole in 1947 and had three children; Susan, Jimmy and Michael.  Jim worked for RCA Electronics for 30 years.  After retiring, Jim and Carole moved to Kingsburg. Jim was preceded in death by Carole, his loving wife of 60 years and his parents, Eugene and Myrtle Bradford.

Jim is survived by his daughter Susan and her husband Jim Wegley of Kingsburg, sons Jimmy and his wife Eva Bradford of Kingsburg, Michael and his wife Trudie Bradford of Walnut Creek, and brother Bob Bradford and his wife Barbara of Fresno.  Jim also had five grandchildren; Chad Wegley and his wife Heather, Dr. Christopher Wegley and his wife Jessica, Jill Manfredo and her husband Jeff, Ginna Holmes and her husband Dr. David Holmes, Keith Polm and his wife Lisa.

Jim’s pride and joy were his eleven great-grandchildren; Justin Polm, Scott Wegley, Hannah Holmes, Colin Manfredo, Hollen Wegley, Hannah Wegley, Gianna Manfredo, Adaliese Wegley, Olivia Manfredo, Bradford Wegley and Wilson Wegley.

Services were held on October 6, 2014, at Creighton Memorial Chapel with burial at the Kingsburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like remembrances made to Hinds Hospice, 1616 W. Shaw Ave., Suite C-1, Fresno, or Sierra View, 1155 E. Springfield Avenue, Reedley.
