BURKETT, Alice Grissim - age 80 of Lebanon passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at University Medical Center.  She was preceded in death by parents, Hamlet Eugene & Mary Alice Grissim Sr.; brothers, Gene Grissim Jr., Billy Grissim, Joe Grissim, C.Y. Grissim; sisters, Doretta Word, Louise Jones, & Helen Hayes.  Survived by husband of 56 years, Kenneth Burkett; daughters, Linda (Billy) Harris and Vicki Burkett (Larry) Pearson of Cookeville; brother Kenneth (Bobbie) Grissim; sister, Pearl Cross; grandchildren, Jason (Tracy) Harris, Kayla (Matt) Jarrett, Callie Pearson , & Justin Pearson; great-grandchildren, Katie Harris & Allie Jarrett; and numerous nieces & nephews.  Mrs. Burkett was a member of Adams Avenue Church of Christ and retired from Bradley Candy Co. with 31 years' service as a supervisor/ machine operator.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Wyatt officiating.  Visitation will be on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. and again on Saturday one hour prior to the service.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders of Adams Avenue Church of Christ and former co-workers at Bradley Candy Co.  PARTLOW FUNERAL CHAPEL in charge of arrangements.  615-444-7007  OBIT LINE 615-444-7700  www.partlowchapel.com
