The funeral for Phyllis Hutcheson, 75, Kingfisher, will be at 2 p.m. Mon., Sept. 8, 2014 at Kingfisher Church of Christ officiated by Steve Minor and Lanny Jobe.  Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

Phyllis was born at Oklahoma City on July 24, 1939 to Mansel and Edith Miller Young and died Thursday September 4, 2014 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City.

She married Vernon Lee Hutcheson in Del City on June 28, 1959.  Phyllis was a member of the Kingfisher Church of Christ.

She is survived by one daughter Shelly Wood of Hennessey; two sisters Faye Legan and husband Robert of Plano, Texas, Carol Nall of Levon, Texas; one brother Mansel Young and wife Jimmie of Hardin County, Tenn.; four grandchildren Dustin Wood and wife Autumn, Brandon Wood, Tara Wood, Brittney Wood, and three great-grandchildren Leann Wood, Scarlett Wood and Kenzee Wood, all of Hennessey.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Lee, and her parents.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
