Ruth Elizabeth Davenport Schroeder, 83, passed from this life on Saturday, August 23, 2014.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 at Crestview Memorial Park with Jerrell Kuykendall, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Ruth was born on August 11, 1931 in Mineral Wells, Texas to the late Claude and Jewel Hopkins.  A Godly woman with a kind, loving heart, she cherished her family and was a friend to all.  She will be missed beyond words.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Kathryn.

She leaves behind her husband, Hans Schroeder; a brother and sister; five children; five stepchildren; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
