Gary B. Sharp Spring Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery
Gary Bryan Sharp, age 40 of Madison passed away September 22, 2014. Bryan was born on June 22, 1974 in Nashville to Gary and Debbie Sharp. Bryan was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Don Nixon and Owen Sharp and grandmother, Betty Sharp. He is survived by his son, Maxwell "Max" Davenport Sharp; mother of Maxwell, Brandy Davenport; parents, Gary and Debbie Sharp; sister, Kelly Y. Sharp (Denver); grandmother, Betty Nixon Glaeser (Gene); aunt, Terry Newbill (Matt); uncles, Dave Sharp (Debbie) and Butch Nixon (Andrea); cousins and active pallbearer, Austin Sharp, Josh Perry, Christy Woodside, Hannah Newbill, Britton Newbill, Sarah Nixon, Katherine Nixon and Jack Nixon. A celebration of Bryan’s life will be held on Friday, September 26th at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, September 25th from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. and Friday from 10 A.M. until service time. Active pallbearers will be: J.D. Wright, Witt Gilbert, Dave Wachtel, Gus Baker, Grit Greer and Jon Swindle. Bryan loved his son, his family and lived each day to it’s fullest. He had an infectious energy and spirit shown in his love for snowboarding, canoeing, hiking, cooking and coaching his son’s baseball team. Bryan’s friendship was contagious, his generosity unlimited, his loyalty unchallenged, and his love everlasting. Rest in peace, B.Sharp.
