Mr. Paul Franklin Watson, age 85, of McMinnville, TN, died Thursday, April 17, 2014, at his residence. He was born August 12, 1928, in DeKalb County, TN, was the former owner of both Red Ball Moving Company and Watson & Wagner Used Cars, was an Elder and charter member of McMinnville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Watson was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Frank Lee and Eula Bond Watson; first wife Janice L. Jones Watson; four sisters, Doris Watson, Virgle Mai Adcock, Anna Stinnett, and Rebekah Lemons; and nine brothers, John Lee Watson, James A. Watson, Charles Loren Watson, George Watson, Lillard Watson, Aaron L. Watson, Frank Lee Watson, Jr., James Charles (J.C.) Watson, and Rev. David E. Watson. Survivors include his wife Annette Crim Lewis Watson, sons Bruce Watson and Rev. Jonathan (Jeanni) Watson, step-daughters Christie (Kevin) Hinson, Andrea Martin, and Nicole (Chris) Farmer, grandchildren Chris (Melissa) Mitcham, Micah, Hannah, and Leah Watson, 5 step-grandchildren and one on the way, 4 great grandchildren, a sister Frances Billings, and brothers Bro. Morris (Angele) Watson and Rev. Johnny (Barbara) Watson. Many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 19, 2014, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. B. J. Hancock and Rev. Ronnie Pittenger will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The Watson Family will receive friends Friday from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. and again Saturday from 9 A.M. until 11 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
