HARDESTY, Okla. — Michael Allen Wood, 58, of Hardesty died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Grace Southern Baptist Church in Guymon with the Rev. Tom Freeman and the Rev. Odie Nunley officiating.  Burial will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

Mr. Wood was born Aug. 1, 1955, in Guymon to Marion and Gladys Quesenbury Wood.  He was a systems operator for the town of Hardesty for the past 13 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Brittany Wood of Guymon and Jennifer Methvin of Adams; his parents; a brother, Owen Wood of Lahoma; four sisters, Debbie LeGrange and Joyce Hughes, both of Amarillo, Texas, Tammy Melms of Grapevine, Texas, and Cindy Miller of Taloga; and four grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Gibson Baptist Camp, in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 1 112, Guymon, OK 73942.
