Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Randy Allen; daughter, Melody Evans and husband Gary of Lubbock; son, Kristopher Allen and wife Hilary of Mineral Wells; two grandchildren, Katy Evans and Kenzy Evans;and two sisters, Roseann Martin of Abilene and Geanene Dever of Snyder. Kay was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2015 with the family receiving friends from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Combest Family Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2015 at South Plains Church of Christ with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.

Kay Allen, 68 of Lubbock passed away on February 20, 2015. She was
born on August 26, 1946 in Colorado City, Texas to Irvin and Rozelle
(Franks) Martin. She married Randy Allen on August 26, 1967.
She was a school teacher for 34 years in Seagraves and Loop, Texas.
She had a kind loving heart; she served with Meals on Wheels and was a
member of the Covenant Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a teacher
for the "SuperKids" program at South Plains Church of Christ, where she
was a member.
