Betty Mae Davenport

Betty Mae Davenport, 52, passed from this life on Thursday, May 7, 2015.

Betty was born on January 26, 1963 in Oakdale, California to the late Chester Lee and Ruth Elizabeth Davenport.  An eccentric woman with a kind, loving heart, she cherished her family and was a friend to all.  She will be missed beyond words.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn.

She leaves behind her daughter, Melissa Davenport; two sisters, Ruby Burton and Dixie Morton; two brothers, Chester Lee Davenport Jr. and Daniel Davenport; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She also leaves behind her beloved dachshunds, Zachary, Franny Mae, and Truffle.

Because of her love for nature, her ashes will be spread across the United States by family; from the foothills of the Smoky Mountains to glaciers in Alaska.  A memorial service will be held in Wichita Falls, Texas at a later date.
