Carl "David" Perkins, Jr. of Pleasant Ridge, MI, died on Thursday, July 2, 2015 in Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, KY

David was born on August 17, 1945, Talladega, AL. to the late Carl David Sr. and Nellie Lou Duncan Perkins.  David served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He was retired from the Chrysler Corporation where he had worked for many years.

David is survived by his brother, Donald Ray, sisters, Vivian Elko-Shields and Tana Jacota.  Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Emma (Perrone)
