Nellie L. Duncan Perkins Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home
Nellie Lou Perkins, age 87 of Somerset, KY. departed this life on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Somerwoods Nursing and Rehabilitaiton Facility in Somerset. Nellie was born on January 13, 1927 in Attalla, AL. to the late Elbert and Alma Elizabeth Beard Duncan. She married Carl David Perkins in Attala, on March 8, 1942. They had four children from their union. She is survived by her son, Donald Ray Perkins , her two daughters Vivian Elko Shields and Tana Jacota; seven grandchildren, Duane DeCoster, Donald Perkins Jr., Darcy Fisette, Luke Jacota, Dale Perkins, Andrea Jacota and Darin Perkins ; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl David Perkins Sr. and her son Carl David Perkins; five brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, Wednesday from 10am till time of funeral services at 11am. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery, Washington Twp. Michigan.
