Pat and Doyle Rowe
BLACHARD, O.K.

Pat and Doyle Rowe, long-time residents of Blanchard, Oklahoma, will have their ashes interred together in a memorial ceremony at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.  Pat Rowe died January 2nd 2005 and Doyle Rowe died July 9th 2014 after battles with lung cancer.

Patricia Ann Felker was born in 1934 in Anderson, South Carolina.  Doyle Joe Rowe was born in 1934 in Cordell, Oklahoma.  They were married in 1953 at the First Baptist Church, Williamston, South Carolina.  They met during Doyle's Air Force career while he was stationed at Donaldson Air Force base, Greenville, South Carolina.

After Doyle's 24 year career in the military, including two tours to Korea, and Pat's career working various jobs including accounting positions, Doyle retired from the Air Force at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas in 1975, and moved back to Anderson, South Carolina.

They would eventually return to Oklahoma and spend their retirement years in Blanchard, Oklahoma, where they enjoyed camping, traveling, and fishing.  When they were not on the road in their RV, they enjoyed gardening and spending time with friends and family.

They are survived by their son, Dennis Rowe and daughter-in-law Liane Rowe, of Ball Ground, Georgia, granddaughter, Ashley Givens and great-granddaughter Anslie Givens, both of Asheville, North Carolina.  Also survived by step-grandchildren, Sarah, Ted, and Kevin Duffy of Atlanta, Georgia.

Pat Rowe was pre-deceased by her mother, Vera Davis and step-father Pelzer Davis of Anderson, South Carolina.  Doyle Rowe is survived by his sister, Ioline Snow of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and was pre-deceased by his mother, Opal Rowe, father, Joe Rowe, and sister, Wanda Snow of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

A memorial ceremony celebrating their life will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia, on Friday April 10th, 2015, at 1:30 pm.
