Ralph BLOMBERG
(1929 - 2016)
Dec. 14, 1929 - Mar. 30, 2016 Ralph Blomberg passed
away at his home in Sacramento, California in the company of his loving
wife, Suzanne, and his two step-daughters, Stephanie Cooper and Shelley
Murphy. He was 86. In addition to his wife, he is survived by
two children: a son, Eric Blomberg and a daughter, Keslie Villarreal;
three grandchildren and three great-grand-children. He was
predeceased by brothers Harold, Donald and Jerome and is survived by
brothers Norman and Robert. Ralph was the fourth of what would
become six boys born to Alice (Berglund) and Gustaf Blomberg. Ralph
and his brothers, Harold and Jerome, took over a family business and
transformed it into Blomberg Window Systems, located across from the
executive airport. Their ultra high-quality windows and doors soon
became the preferred products in custom homes and commercial building
designs throughout Northern California and beyond. In 1982, Ralph
married Suzanne LaTurner who was the love of his life for the rest of his
life, a marriage of more than 34 years. They loved each other's
company and celebrated life together, traveling and vacationing, golfing
and entertaining in their home with family and friends. A
celebration of Ralph's life will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm on Friday,
April 8, at the Nepenthe Clubhouse, 1131 Commons Drive in Sacramento.
