Cody Michael Bridgmon, 19, of Decatur passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016.  He is survived by his mother, Olivia Rebekah Sykes and stepfather Tarrius Sykes, father, Michael Lewis Bridgmon, daughter, Melodie Rose Gardella, grandparents, Wendell and Trudy Allen and Susan Long and step grandfather Michael Long; two sisters, Brooke Bridgmon and Destinee (Bree) Marshall, stepbrother Kyle Sykes; numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.  Visitation will be Wednesday May 11,2016 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00pm at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with Brother Charles Sparks officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.  Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family
