(January 11, 1947 - September 3, 2016)

Nancy Carole Holder, age 69, a McMinnville, TN resident and Warren County, TN native died September 3, 2016 in St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness.

She was a retired LPN with NHC Home Care and River Park Hospital, member of the Church of Christ and daughter of the late Albert Lloyd and Bertha Louise Blair Elrod.  She was married October 12, 1974 to Herbert Ray Holder, Sr. who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Herbert Ray Jr. and Nancy Holder of Morrison, TN; step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Carol and Ronald Lewis of McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Brian Holder, Kyle Holder, Ashley Tate, Cory Womack and Tevan Holder; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman Lloyd and Judy Elrod, Jerry Edward and Shirley Elrod and Ronald Clark and Rhonda Elrod all of McMinnville; sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and Herb Rowland of McMinnville; two uncles, Edward Elrod of Wilmington, DE and Lee Blair of Rock Island, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 5, 2016 in Centertown Cemetery with Doug Bost officiating.  Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at High’s.  Family and friends are to meet at the cemetery Monday.
