1927 - 2016

Graveside services for Bobbie J. Prock, 89, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lawton, Oklahoma with Weldon Flanagan officiating.  Mrs. Prock died Monday, December 5, 2016 in Sherman, Texas.

Bobbie was born February 13, 1927 near Hollis, Oklahoma to Doug and Ruby (Barnes) Murray.  She attended and graduated from Hollis High School in 1946.  She married Bill G. Prock at Hollis on August 18, 1946.  He died Dec. 26, 1999.  After his death, she moved to Sherman to be close to her son, Steve, and his family.  While in Sherman, she attended Western Heights Church of Christ.

Bobbie was a longtime member of the University Church of Christ in Lawton for more than 50 years.  She retired from Civil Service as a Budget Analyst in February 1987 after 20 years at Fort Sill.  Prior to working in Civil Service, she worked for W.W. Godlove, Attorney.  She was also a homemaker.

Bobbie was also preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Sonny Murray.

She is survived by her two sons and a daughter-in-law: Stan Prock of Lawton, OK, and Steve and Carla Prock of Sherman, TX; four grandsons and wives: Chris and Wendy, Josh, Ryan and Taran, Collin and Mariah; two granddaughters, Mandy, and Kelli Vincent and her husband, Joe; 7 great-grandsons, Hayden, Jared, Slade, Hollis, Brady, Carter, and Tucker; and 2 great-granddaughters, Sydnee and Adley.
