Clifton Eugene Swinney 82 of Brownwood, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at Senior Care Nursing Home. Graveside services for Clifton Eugene Swinney will be Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the May cemetery. R.W. Roger Stewart will be presiding. Clifton born January 17, 1934 to parents Raymon D Swinney & Chlotile (Burkett) Swinney in Mullins, Texas. He married Ila May (Word) Swinney May 28th, 1954 in Brownwood. Her parents were Clyde & Edna (Allgood) Word. He graduated from Early High School, then He attended Howard Payne University. He served his country in the Texas National Guard from 1952 to 1960. He worked for Dow Corning and made microscopic surgical tools. He started out as a machinist expanding into injection mold productions.
He & his wife were proud parents 3 daughters. He is
survived by Sabrina Diane (Swinney) Farmer Martinez of Georgetown, Texas.
Tammy LaJuan (Swinney) Kidd & her husband Larry of Burleson Texas.
Grand-sons David Farmer of Midland, and Kirk Farmer & wife Kera of
Georgetown, Texas. Grand-daughter Dusty May Welch of Crowley. 3
great granddaughters, Braylee Maeson Welch, Blaise Madison Welch, Gracie
Farmer. He is also survived by his sister in law, Dottie Layman of
Brownwood. He was preceded in death by his wife March 4, 2016.
Baby daughter Teresa Verneil Swinney, his parents, and grandson Larry
Andrew (Andy) Kidd at the age 23. Services under the direction of
