Borden, Asherton Merchant, Dies

ASHERTON, Texas Sept. 17, 1936 -- Burial for James Harden Borden prominent merchant of Asherton who passed away here Wednesday afternoon was conducted from the Baptist Church Thursday and interment was made in the Corrizo Springs Cemetery.  Dean H. E. Speck of San Marcos officiating,

Mr. Borden was born in Hopkins County, Texas 1881.  He had been a resident here for the past ten years.  He is survived by one daughter Mrs. Edris Frenzel, Big Wells a sister Mrs. Laura Overstreet, Lone Grove and one brother Wilkes Borden of Dono.
