Archie J. Clevenger, Aged 93, Dies at Home

Archie James Clevenger, 93, died last night at 9:35 o'clock at his home in Anniston, Rt. 3, after an illness of three years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Willie Clevenger of Anniston, Rt. 3; three sons, Chamblee Clevenger of Anniston, Rt. 3, Lonnie Clevenger of Talladega, and Charlie Clevenger of Anniston, Rt. 3; two daughters, Mrs. E. L. Pinson of Anniston, and Mrs. O. V. Pike of Sheffield; two brothers, Dave Clevenger of Attalla, and Ben Clevenger of Huntsville; one sister, Mrs. Jannie Haney of Shearwood, Tenn., and 18 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock at Wesleyan Methodist Church, the Rev. Ed Pointer officiating.  The body will remain at the residence until the hour of the funeral.  Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Colonial in charge.
