Text: Wounds are fatal to Project man:  The war department has notified Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Lindeen of Pompeys Pillar that their son, Private Bruce A. Lindeen, died November 11 of wounds received in action in France.  Private Lindeen was born in Pompeys Pillar, April 15, 1920.  He graduated from Project high school in 1938.  After enlisting in the Army Feb 19, 1942, he served in a tank destroyer unit, going overseas last March.
